Western Star Resources Engages Dahrouge Geological Consulting for Tungsten Asset Evaluation

Western Star Resources Inc. (CSE: WSR) (OTC: WSRIF) (FRA: 4K2) announced that Dahrouge Geological Consulting has joined the company's technical team to assist in evaluating and advancing its past-producing tungsten assets in Nevada and New Mexico. The engagement aims to accelerate exploration efforts and define drill targets at the Eagle Point Mine in New Mexico, a historical tungsten producer.

Blake Morgan, CEO of Western Star Resources, stated: “We are thrilled to have added Dahrouge to our existing geological team as we continue to advance our Past Producing Tungsten Assets in Nevada and New Mexico. Dahrouge has been reviewing and analyzing the technical data at the Past Producing Eagle Point Mine in New Mexico in order to define drill targets across the known surface mineralisation and to consolidate all the data into a well-developed technical presentation and model.”

The collaboration is expected to expedite the development of a comprehensive drill program targeting historical non-compliant resources, with an initial maiden drill program planned for 2026. Following this, the company aims to move towards a Mineral Resource Estimate (MRE). The board intends to release further updates to the market as soon as possible.

Dahrouge Geological Consulting is a North American mineral exploration, consulting, and project management group with offices in Edmonton, Montreal, and Denver. The Denver office, where the team has regional expertise in site-specific geology and resource evaluation, will support the project. Dahrouge provides professional services including project generation, program design, geophysics, project evaluation, and geology and resource estimations.

Jacob Anderson, Certified Professional Geologist at Dahrouge Consulting, commented: “We are excited to work closely with the geological team at Western Star Resources in order to gain a better understanding of the geology and mineralization of Eagle Point Mine in New Mexico. Dahrouge will work aggressively to advance the understanding of Eagle Point's resource potential, while helping to de-risk and expand the Mineral Resource of the project.”

Western Star Resources is an emerging junior mineral exploration company focused on revitalizing North America's tungsten supply. The company is advancing its entry into the U.S. market through past-producing tungsten assets in historically important mining districts, positioning itself to meet the growing demand for secure domestic critical mineral supply. The engagement of Dahrouge marks a strategic step for Western Star as it seeks to de-risk and expand its resource base, potentially strengthening the domestic tungsten supply chain. Tungsten is classified as a critical mineral by the U.S. government due to its importance in defense, aerospace, and industrial applications. The company's focus on past-producing mines, such as the Eagle Point Mine, could lead to more efficient exploration and development, given existing infrastructure and geological data.
