Western Star Resources Inc. (CSE: WSR) (OTC: WSRIF) (FRA: 4K2) has issued a corporate update highlighting recent progress across its tungsten assets in the United States. The company has been actively building a portfolio of past-producing tungsten properties, conducting modern exploration, and positioning itself to supply critical minerals for defense, aerospace, and advanced manufacturing.
Over the past several months, Western Star has advanced its strategy by closing an oversubscribed private placement, expanding the Rowland Tungsten Property in Nevada, and acquiring the White Star Tungsten Project and the past-producing Eagle Point Tungsten Mine in New Mexico. The company also submitted an application to the U.S. Defense Industrial Base Consortium related to strategic critical mineral supply.
At the Rowland property in Elko County, Nevada, Western Star completed Phase 1 exploration including a high-resolution UAV magnetic survey, soil geochemistry, rock-chip sampling, and field checking of historical workings. The results from the geophysical survey are being integrated with pending assay results to design a Phase 2 exploration program and refine potential drill targets. The company has also initiated drill-permitting work through the engagement of KC Harvey Environmental, LLC.
The acquisition of the White Star Tungsten Project adjacent to Rowland creates a district-scale exploration opportunity in the Jarbidge-Charleston tungsten area. The property features historical tungsten-molybdenum skarn mineralization, and Western Star believes the proximity to Rowland may provide logistical and exploration efficiencies.
Further expanding its portfolio, Western Star acquired a 100% interest in the past-producing Eagle Point Tungsten Mine in New Mexico. This asset provides exposure to another historical tungsten district with documented past production, surface mineralization, and untested exploration targets.
Blake Morgan, President and CEO of Western Star, stated, "Our goal is to move beyond isolated announcements and help shareholders see the larger picture. We are building a portfolio of past-producing tungsten assets in the United States, advancing modern exploration datasets, preparing for drill targeting, and positioning Western Star within the broader critical mineral’s discussion."
Western Star also announced the launch of its official Stocktwits account as a supplemental communication channel. Shareholders can follow @WesternStarResources on Stocktwits for links to news releases, public updates, interviews, and investor awareness content. The company emphasized that the account is intended to supplement, not replace, formal disclosure channels such as news releases and regulatory filings.
Investors are encouraged to review the company's official news releases and filings for complete information. The company anticipates news regarding drill permits, maiden drill programs, and assays from current exploration programs in the coming weeks.
