Licensed Massage Therapist Amy Owens has opened her new massage therapy business at the Salon and Spa Galleria Oakmont Boulevard in Fort Worth, Texas, and is now accepting appointments. A United States Army veteran, Owens brings six years of industry experience and a therapeutic approach tailored to each client's needs.
Owens, who attended Lancaster School of Cosmetology & Therapeutic Body Work in Pennsylvania, has worked with chiropractic clients to aid recovery and improve adjustments, as well as in spa settings. Her services include Swedish, deep tissue, trigger point, pregnancy, and hot stone massages, along with ice globe and cold stone face massages, Himalayan hot stones, glide cupping, and aromatherapy. She offers pressure levels from light to firm, catering to clients seeking relaxation or solutions to pain and mobility challenges.
"I went into this business to help others benefit from massage the way I have benefited from it," Owens said. "My goal is to create a personalized experience that fosters both physical relief and overall well-being." She collaborates with clients during sessions to identify effective treatments addressing their specific concerns.
Owens is currently accepting clients by appointment only, with hours from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday and Friday, and 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. To celebrate her opening, she is offering free targeted hot stones or targeted glide cupping services from August 1–7.
