BOSTON, MASSACHUSETTS — VectorCertain LLC today announced new validation results demonstrating that its SecureAgent governance platform can detect and prevent AI-driven attempts to destroy audit trails before they occur, addressing a critical and growing risk in modern cybersecurity environments.
The findings, based on extensive adversarial testing across hundreds of real-world scenarios, highlight the increasing threat of AI-powered anti-forensics and position VectorCertain's approach as a proactive solution to preserving forensic integrity and regulatory compliance.
VectorCertain's T4 validation tested 1,000 independently generated adversarial scenarios across six distinct sub-categories of track-covering log manipulation. Every scenario was generated via Anthropic's Claude API, never seen by the system during development, and executed with no pre-processing or filtering.
The six sub-categories tested include direct log deletion, SIEM/monitoring disruption, incident record tampering, timestamp manipulation, archive destruction, and selective log modification. Across all categories, SecureAgent achieved 100% recall, detecting and preventing all 847 log manipulation attempts before execution, with zero false negatives.

The validation shows that SecureAgent's GTID (Governance Transaction ID) architecture makes log manipulation architecturally impossible. The GTID pre-execution audit chain records every governance decision before the agent's action executes, creating a hash-chained, tamper-evident record that cannot be altered. This approach addresses what Kiteworks described as essential: "Tamper-evidence is a technical property, not a policy one."
Traditional EDR systems fail against log manipulation because they record events after execution, store logs in writable databases that agents can modify, and offer no protection against identity-led attacks. MITRE ER7 confirmed 0% identity attack protection across all nine evaluated vendors, while VectorCertain achieved 100% identity attack protection in its internal ER8 evaluation.
The results come as the cost of delayed cyberattack investigation reaches $114,000 per hour, with the average investigation taking 8.5 days. Without audit trails, investigations may never conclude. Global cyber-enabled fraud losses reached $485.6 billion in 2023, and the average U.S. breach costs $10.22 million.
VectorCertain's 55-patent hub-and-spoke portfolio protects the GTID architecture, including core patents for the Hierarchical Cascading Framework (HCF2), the 828-model ensemble (MRM-CFS), and the Hybrid Ensemble System (HES1-SG) that powers the discrimination micro-models used in T4 detection.
