Storagely 3.0.1 Rebuild Signals Strategic Shift for Self-Storage Operators

Storagely, a website platform built for self-storage operators, has announced Storagely 3.0.1, a complete rebuild of its platform and the largest release in the company's history. The announcement comes as the self-storage industry evolves, with operators demanding more hands-on control, quicker launch times, and distinct online identities for each facility. The new platform is set to debut publicly at the SSA Fall Conference & Trade Show from September 8th to 11th at the Aria Resort & Casino in Las Vegas, at Booth #1233.

The significance of this rebuild lies in its departure from incremental feature additions. According to Austin Simmons, who became Chief Executive Officer in April 2026, operators have consistently voiced three needs: greater control over their websites, the ability to launch new locations in days rather than weeks, and the capacity for each facility to stand out in its market. "We stopped just adding features and decided it's time to rebuild around those pain points," Simmons said. This strategic pivot could signal a new standard for how self-storage operators manage their digital operations, moving away from reliance on support tickets and toward self-service tools.

Central to the rebuild is FLEX, a drag-and-drop editor that allows operators to edit any block, swap layouts, and publish new pages in minutes without developer assistance. Alongside FLEX is ATLAS, a new Location Profile Manager that consolidates all location details—such as address, hours, pricing, photos, unit types, and amenities—into a single source of truth that automatically updates the website. The ATLAS Google Profile sync further enables changes made to a Google Business profile to reflect directly on the website. These tools collectively empower operators to customize each facility's online presence, potentially enhancing local competitiveness.

Launch velocity is another critical improvement. New websites can now launch in weeks instead of months, and new locations can come online in days rather than weeks. This speed allows operators to stay agile and respond quickly to market opportunities. Performance enhancements include a modern architecture with faster load times across mobile and desktop, improved page speed scores, and infrastructure that scales from a single store to hundreds of locations. The platform also features a revamped one-page checkout with upgrades like a merchandise shop and other upsell options, which could drive additional revenue streams.

Simmons, previously Chief Operating Officer, led the rebuild in close partnership with Founder and Executive Chairman Brian Leimone. "For years I've watched Austin grow from someone I believed in, into the leader Storagely needs today," Leimone said. "3.0.1 begins a new era for the company, and he's the right person to lead it." This leadership transition and technical overhaul underscore Storagely's commitment to innovation and its responsiveness to operator feedback, potentially setting a new benchmark for website platforms in the self-storage sector.

Operators interested in experiencing Storagely 3.0.1 can attend the SSA Fall Conference & Trade Show at Booth #1233, where demonstrations will be held. Advance meeting bookings are available at storagely.io/schedule-a-demo. For more information about Storagely, visit storagely.io.
