SS Innovations' SSi Mantra Surgical Robotic System Approved for Telesurgeries in Indonesia and the Philippines, Surpasses 150 Cumulative Procedures

SS Innovations International, Inc. (Nasdaq: SSII) announced today that its SSi Mantra surgical robotic system has received approval for telesurgeries in Indonesia and the Philippines, expanding the reach of remote surgical care in Southeast Asia. The company also reported that more than 150 cumulative telesurgeries have been successfully performed using the system, primarily in India.

The approvals mark a significant step in SS Innovations' mission to make robotic surgery affordable and accessible globally. The SSi Mantra system, which features capabilities for remote surgery, allows surgeons to operate on patients from distant locations, potentially overcoming geographical barriers to specialized care.

Recent demonstrations of the system's capabilities include a remarkable session on February 14, 2026, where 18 inter-hospital telesurgeries were performed between Indore and Bhopal, India, within an eight-hour period. These procedures included 13 gastric bypass surgeries performed by Dr. Mohit Bhandari from Mohak Bariatrics and Robotics in Indore and 5 complex gynecological surgeries by Dr. Priya Bhave Chittawar from HER Health Hospital in Bhopal. All surgeries utilized the SSi MantrAsana Tele Surgeon Console, a portable, chair-based version of the surgeon command center designed for telesurgery.

This achievement followed a telesurgery marathon on December 23, 2025, from SS Innovations' headquarters, during which nine surgeons performed 24 telesurgeries within 12 hours on patients across multiple locations in India. The procedures covered ten different types, including intricate cardiac surgeries.

Dr. Sudhir Srivastava, Chairman and CEO of SS Innovations, stated: “The SSi Mantra surgical robotic system continues to pioneer telesurgery, not merely in concept but in real-world practice and rapidly growing adoption by leading physicians. We are thrilled to receive approval for telesurgeries utilizing the SSi Mantra in two new markets: Indonesia and the Philippines. We also are pleased to surpass the milestone of more than 150 telesurgeries successfully performed with the SSi Mantra, indicating that we are gaining significant traction in enabling state-of-the-art remote surgical care. The SSi Mantra’s advanced telesurgery capabilities empower the cross-sharing of physicians’ expertise and dismantle traditional geographical barriers to care, furthering our mission of driving equitable access to quality healthcare.”

SS Innovations is also hosting the Global Multi-Specialty Robotic Surgery Conference 2026 (SMRSC 2026) in New Delhi, India, from April 9-11, 2026. The conference will bring together distinguished surgeons and thought leaders to discuss the future of robotic and minimally invasive surgery. More than 20 live telesurgeries using the SSi Mantra are planned, spanning multiple specialties. Registration is available at https://ssinnovations.com/SMRSC_2026/register/.

The SSi Mantra system is a modular, multi-arm robotic platform featuring an open-faced surgeon console, 3D 4K visualization, and over 40 types of robotic instruments. It has been clinically validated in India across more than 100 different surgical procedures. The company's technology aims to address the high cost and limited accessibility of robotic surgery, potentially enabling broader adoption in emerging markets.

With these new approvals, SS Innovations is positioned to expand its footprint in Southeast Asia, where access to specialized surgical care is often limited. The company's progress in telesurgery could transform healthcare delivery by allowing expert surgeons to operate remotely, reducing the need for patient travel and enabling timely interventions.
