Silvercorp Metals Reports High-Grade Gold Intercepts at Kyzyltash, Including Two New Structures

Silvercorp Metals Inc. (TSX: SVM) (NYSE American: SVM) has released the first batch of drill results from its fully permitted Tulkubash/Kyzyltash gold projects in Kyrgyzstan, revealing multiple high-grade gold intercepts, including two newly identified mineralized structures. The results, from 29 diamond drill holes totaling 3,640 meters along the Main Zone, underscore the project's potential for resource growth and are a key step in the company's strategy to expand its gold portfolio.

The most notable intercept came from hole DH26M687, which intersected a combined 212.5 meters grading 1.68 grams per tonne (g/t) gold. This interval comprises four mineralized structures, two of which were not previously known. Hole DH26M686 intersected six structures, including a standout 39 meters at 4.79 g/t Au, with a higher-grade sub-interval of 6 meters at 22.23 g/t Au. Additionally, hole DH26M818 returned a combined 47 meters at 3.95 g/t Au, including 13.5 meters at 8.04 g/t Au.

These results are significant because they expand the known mineralization at Kyzyltash and confirm the presence of multiple high-grade zones that could enhance the project's economic viability. Silvercorp, a Canadian mining company with a history of profitability, is focused on generating free cash flow from long-life mines, organic growth through extensive drilling, and strategic mergers and acquisitions. The company's commitment to responsible mining and ESG principles underpins its operations.

Silvercorp's management views these drill results as a positive step toward unlocking the full potential of the Tulkubash/Kyzyltash projects. The newly identified structures, in particular, suggest that the mineralized system is more extensive than previously understood, offering opportunities for resource expansion. The company plans to continue its drilling program to further delineate these zones and test additional targets.

The Tulkubash/Kyzyltash projects are fully permitted, which reduces development risk and allows for a streamlined path toward potential production. This is a crucial advantage in the current mining environment, where permitting delays can significantly impact project timelines. Silvercorp's ability to advance these projects efficiently could position the company to capitalize on the growing demand for gold as a safe-haven asset.

Investors and industry analysts will be watching closely as Silvercorp releases further drill results from the ongoing program. The initial findings suggest that Kyzyltash could become a significant contributor to the company's gold production, diversifying its revenue streams beyond its core silver operations. The high-grade intercepts also indicate the potential for a higher-margin operation, which could positively impact the company's financial performance.
