Returnstar Technology has launched the IQVideo LCS810 Lecture Capture System, a comprehensive solution designed to support lecture recording, live streaming, and hybrid classroom collaboration. As universities increasingly adopt blended learning models, the LCS810 provides educators with a simple and reliable way to capture lectures and deliver interactive remote teaching.
The system integrates video recording, live broadcasting, and collaboration tools into a single platform, helping institutions modernize classroom infrastructure while expanding access to learning. Key features include a 15.6-inch high-definition touch screen for intuitive control, 4K UHD recording, flexible scheduling, and live streaming via RTMP and HLS protocols to platforms such as YouTube and Vimeo.
Professional lecture production is supported with eight layout modes, multiple transition effects, and customization options for subtitles, logos, and opening or closing graphics. The built-in 1TB storage drive ensures reliable archiving of long-duration lectures. For interactivity, an optional low-latency module enables 1-to-9 remote collaboration, allowing up to ten participants to communicate in real time. The system also supports driver-free connection to conferencing platforms like Zoom and Microsoft Teams via UVC and UAC protocols.
Flexible AV integration is achieved through multiple video input methods, including RTSP, ONVIF, HDMI, and USB, making it compatible with a wide range of cameras and equipment. An optional built-in audio processor provides echo cancellation, noise suppression, and automatic mixing to ensure clear sound. The LCS810 has already been deployed in multiple university projects worldwide, where it is used to record lectures, build digital learning libraries, and support real-time remote class interaction.
