21 Events, in collaboration with Discover Puerto Rico, has announced the 2026 edition of Puerto Rico’s Day at the Ballpark, a series of cultural celebrations at select MLB stadiums that honor the island’s 128-year baseball legacy and its legendary players. Now entering its fourth season, the series has grown into a marquee cultural activation, generating over 6 billion impressions and reaching more than 128 million people nationwide since its inception.
The 2026 season begins June 9 at Citi Field during the St. Louis Cardinals vs. New York Mets game, where Puerto Rican star Francisco Lindor will be honored in a special pregame ceremony recognizing his contributions on and off the field. Fans will experience activations including a scoreboard presentation showcasing Puerto Rico’s beauty, stadium signage, VIP hospitality, Puerto Rican music, and a limited-edition commemorative Mets t-shirt giveaway. Attendees can also enter to win a trip for two to Puerto Rico, including roundtrip airfare and a four-day, three-night hotel stay, encouraging firsthand exploration of the island’s culture and hospitality.
