Powermax Minerals Inc. (CSE: PMAX) (OTCQB: PWMXF) (FSE: T23) announced the commencement of high-resolution helicopter-borne geophysical surveys and field exploration programs at its Pinard and Hopkins rare earth element (REE) properties in Ontario. The airborne programs, conducted by Geo Data Solutions GDS Inc., will collect magnetic, radiometric spectrometric, and VLF-EM data to identify geological structures, alteration patterns, and radiometric anomalies prospective for REE mineralization. The Pinard survey covers approximately 1,319 line-kilometers, while the Hopkins program spans about 1,623 line-kilometers across the Hopkins West and Hopkins East survey blocks.
In parallel, Powermax has initiated field prospecting, geological mapping, and sampling at both properties. The results from the geophysical surveys and field activities will be integrated with existing geological data to prioritize targets for follow-up exploration.
