PNE Group Secures 22 MW Wind Farm in France Amid Competitive Tender

The PNE Group has been awarded a contract to build the "Oinville-Saint-Liphard" wind farm in France, marking a significant achievement in a highly competitive tender round. The project, located in the Centre-Val de Loire region, comprises four wind turbines with a total capacity of 22 megawatts (MW). PNE France was among eleven winning developers selected from 144 bids, which represented a combined capacity of 2.38 gigawatts (GW). Only 39 projects, totaling 808 MW, were awarded in the eleventh tender under France's PPE2 program.

Roland Stanze, Chief Operating Officer of PNE AG, expressed satisfaction with the outcome, stating, "We are very pleased that we were able to prevail in a highly competitive tender. This once again demonstrates the excellent work being done by our French team on the ground. Following the sale of the 'Romescamps' wind farm, this is the next success for us within just a few days in one of our most important core markets and once again confirms our strategy."

The tender process resumed after a nearly one-year pause, with the French government relaunching tenders in early April 2026, shortly after publishing the multiannual energy plan PPE3. The timing was favorable for PNE, as the Oinville-Saint-Liphard wind farm received approval in May, just in time for submission. Notably, the approval was granted in only 15 months, reflecting efficient regulatory processes.

This win underscores France's importance as a core market for the PNE Group, which is listed on the SDAX and has over 30 years of experience in onshore wind farm project development. The group focuses on developing wind energy and photovoltaic projects globally, as well as generating power through its own wind farms. Its services span the entire project lifecycle, from site investigation and permitting to financing, construction, operation, and repowering. As a Clean Energy Solutions Provider, PNE also offers battery storage solutions for more efficient use of renewable energies.

The success in France aligns with PNE's strategy to strengthen its presence in key European markets. For more information about PNE Group's projects and services, visit their official website: PNE Group.
