Denver residents juggling work, family, and endless chores now have a new option for tackling one of the most time-consuming tasks: laundry. Mountains of Laundry, a sister service to the locally owned, woman-owned green cleaning company Dashing Maids, has launched a pickup and delivery laundry service in select areas of the Denver metro. The service collects laundry directly from a customer's door, washes and folds each load using hypoallergenic, environmentally friendly detergents, and returns everything clean, folded, and ready to put away. Pricing starts at $2.75 per pound with a $40 minimum per order, and monthly membership plans are available for households that prefer a consistent, recurring schedule.
The launch matters because it addresses a persistent pain point for busy families and professionals: the never-ending cycle of laundry. By outsourcing this chore, customers can reclaim hours each week. The use of hypoallergenic and eco-friendly products also appeals to health-conscious and environmentally aware consumers, setting the service apart from traditional laundromats or delivery options that may use harsh chemicals. For more than a decade, Dashing Maids has been about giving people their time back, said Ashley Matuska Kidder, owner of Dashing Maids and Mountains of Laundry. Laundry is one of those chores that never really ends, and we wanted to build a service that treats it with the same care and consistency our cleaning clients already trust us for.
The service is launching in a select area of the Denver metro, with the team focused on building out delivery routes and refining operations before expanding. Mountains of Laundry plans to grow its coverage area over time as demand increases. Customers who sign up for a membership receive a free reusable laundry bag, free delivery, no per-order minimum, and 10 percent off household extras such as rugs, comforters, and dog beds. The company's emphasis on eco-friendly practices aligns with a broader trend in consumer preferences, where sustainability and convenience are increasingly important. By leveraging the reputation and operational expertise of Dashing Maids, Mountains of Laundry is positioned to capture a share of the growing on-demand laundry market in Denver.
