Ultrack Systems Inc. (OTC: MJLB) announced significant progress by its subsidiary Better Pets in 2025, including regulatory approvals, brand modernization, and digital transformation, as the global pet wellness market accelerates toward a projected $250 billion valuation.
Better Pets launched an AI-powered interactive website at mybetterpets.com, designed to educate pet owners, provide interactive guidance, and support direct-to-consumer e-commerce. The platform reflects the brand's commitment to combining regulated pet wellness products with modern digital engagement.
The company achieved a major regulatory milestone by receiving Health Canada Veterinary Product Notification (VPN) numbers for two products, validating compliance with Canadian standards and enabling lawful commercialization. This regulatory approval is a key barrier to entry in the pet wellness sector and enhances long-term brand credibility.
In October 2025, Better Pets launched its first Health Canada-approved product, Pet Balm, transitioning from development to active commercialization. The company engaged Empire Media Worx for brand modernization, finalizing packaging and developing retail-ready merchandising displays.
Distribution readiness advanced with Freedom Pet Supplies agreeing in principle to carry Better Pets products across approximately 1,800–2,000 retail locations, pending final packaging rollout. The hybrid distribution model combines direct-to-consumer e-commerce and distributor-supported retail expansion.
Regarding trademark clarification, Better Pets submitted a formal response to the USPTO on February 9, addressing a suspension notice triggered by documentation that was inadvertently overlooked. Management expects resolution without material impact on operations. Reference: USPTO case.
Looking ahead to 2026, Better Pets plans to launch pre-sales campaigns, expand direct-to-consumer sales, accelerate digital marketing, execute retail placement, and evaluate U.S. and EU market entry subject to regulatory approvals. Management believes the combination of regulatory compliance, AI-enabled digital infrastructure, brand modernization, retail readiness, and disciplined capital deployment positions Better Pets to participate in the accelerating global pet wellness market.
