McEwen Inc. (NYSE: MUX) (TSX: MUX) has filed an independent National Instrument 43-101 technical report for its Tartan Mine Project in Manitoba, confirming the previously reported mineral resource estimate. The report, effective December 31, 2025, details 308,900 ounces of gold in indicated resources and 302,700 ounces in inferred resources.
The filing provides transparency and technical validation for the project, which is part of McEwen's broader portfolio of gold and silver operations in the Americas. The Tartan Mine Project is located in the Flin Flon region of Manitoba, a prolific mineral-rich area where McEwen also operates other assets.
McEwen's portfolio includes gold and silver mines in Nevada, Ontario, Manitoba, and Argentina, as well as a 46.3% interest in McEwen Copper, which owns the advanced-stage Los Azules copper development project in Argentina. The company recently announced the feasibility study results for Los Azules, which is designed to be carbon neutral by 2038.
Additionally, McEwen has acquired a 27.3% stake in Paragon Advanced Labs Inc., a company deploying PhotonAssay technology for precious and base metal assaying, which the company believes could become the new industry standard.
Chairman Rob McEwen has invested over US$250 million personally and takes a salary of $1 per year, aligning his interests with shareholders. He aims to build MUX's profitability and share value, ultimately implementing a dividend policy.
