MAX Power Mining Begins Commercial Validation Drilling at Lawson Natural Hydrogen Project

MAX Power Mining Corp. (CSE: MAXX; OTC: MAXXF; FRANKFURT: 89N) has commenced a commercial validation drilling program at its Lawson Natural Hydrogen Complex in Saskatchewan, mobilizing Savanna Drilling Rig #416 to the site. The multi-well program targets what the company believes could become the world's first large-scale commercial natural hydrogen discovery, building on previous discoveries and independent laboratory confirmation of the subsurface hydrogen system.

The initial well will test a target defined through high-resolution 3D seismic imaging. The program is designed to evaluate key commercial parameters including flow rates, pressure behavior, continuity of the hydrogen-bearing formation, gas concentrations, deliverability, and scalability. Success could position MAX Power at the forefront of the emerging natural hydrogen industry, which offers a low-carbon energy source generated naturally underground.

In a separate announcement, MAX Power renewed its investor awareness agreement with Emerging Markets Consulting for six months, paying an additional $400,000 for strategic communications and investor awareness services. The company also granted incentive stock options to directors, officers, and consultants to purchase up to 5,235,000 common shares under its omnibus equity incentive plan.

MAX Power is an innovative mineral and energy exploration company focused on the shift to decarbonization. Its Lawson Discovery near Central Butte, Saskatchewan, represents Canada's first-ever subsurface natural hydrogen system confirmed through deep drilling, with data validated by three independent labs. The company has built dominant district-scale land positions across Saskatchewan, covering approximately 1.3 million acres (521,000 hectares) of permits prospective for large-volume accumulations of natural hydrogen.

In addition to its hydrogen projects, MAX Power holds a portfolio of critical mineral properties in the United States and Canada, highlighted by a 2024 diamond drilling discovery at the Willcox Playa Lithium Project in southeast Arizona, which is 100%-owned by its U.S. subsidiary. MAX Power is committed to responsible exploration and development practices that prioritize environmental stewardship, meaningful community engagement, and strong corporate governance.
