VANCOUVER, BC — Loulou Lollipop, a Certified B Corporation known for premium baby essentials, has launched the Big Dreams Swaddle Wrap, a new addition to its Big Dreams sleep collection. Designed to address the common struggle of babies escaping swaddles, the wrap is already a finalist for the Baby Safety Award of Excellence from the Baby Safety Alliance.
Founder Angel Kho developed the swaddle after her first daughter constantly wiggled her arms out of traditional swaddles, waking herself up. “She always managed to wiggle one arm out — even through the zipper opening — and she'd wake herself up in the middle of the night,” Kho said. “I even tried elastic bands around the shoulders just to keep her arms in. Looking back, it's almost comical. At the time, I was completely exhausted.”
The Big Dreams Swaddle Wrap features a soft, silent, and secure closure that wraps around the baby's torso, providing gentle tension and womb-like comfort while allowing legs to move freely like a traditional sleep bag. It is available in three popular prints and extends the Big Dreams collection, which already includes the award-winning Sleep Bag, back to the newborn stage.
The swaddle is made from TENCEL™ Lyocell fabric, which is breathable and helps regulate body temperature, and its insulation blends TENCEL™ Lyocell with DuPont™ Sorona®, a plant-based fiber derived from corn. It is OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 certified, ensuring no harmful substances.
As a finalist for the Baby Safety Award, the swaddle's winner is chosen by public vote, emphasizing the importance of parental input in safety products. Voting is open until September 13, 2026, at the Baby Safety Alliance website. The swaddle is available at LoulouLollipop.com and LoulouLollipop.ca.
Kho advises parents that this is a product they may only need to buy once, reflecting the quality and thoughtful design behind it. The launch underscores Loulou Lollipop's commitment to safety and sustainability, aligning with its mission to create products that are better for babies and the planet.
