Leonteq Shareholders Approve All Board Proposals at 2026 Annual General Meeting

Leonteq AG announced today that its shareholders approved all proposals put forward by the Board of Directors at the Annual General Meeting held in Zurich. The meeting, attended by 102 shareholders representing 453,102 shares, with the independent proxy representing 1,152 shareholders and 11,252,476 shares, achieved total attendance of approximately 64% of issued shares.

All five incumbent Board members were re-elected for a one-year term, and Christopher Chambers was re-elected as Chairman. Additionally, shareholders elected Barbara Heller and Juerg Steiger as new independent Board members. Other approved proposals included the Management Report, Consolidated Financial Statements, and Financial Statements for 2025, as well as the Sustainability Report 2025 and Compensation Report 2025 in advisory votes. Shareholders also approved the allocation of retained earnings, re-election of the Nomination and Remuneration Committee, statutory auditors, and independent proxy, along with changes to the Articles of Association and compensation for the Board and Executive Committee.

The new Board and committee composition includes Christopher Chambers as Chairman of the Audit and Risk Committee, Philippe Weber as Vice-Chairman, and Barbara Heller as Chair of the Nomination and Remuneration Committee, with Philippe Le Baquer, Thomas Meier, Juerg Steiger, and Sylvia Steinmann serving as members.
