The 9th annual LATINAFest, the nation's largest outdoor festival celebrating Latinas in the U.S., will take place on Sunday, June 7, 2026, at Jesse Brewer Park in Exposition Park. This year's theme, 'UNSTOPPABLE,' highlights the rapid growth and economic influence of Latinas, who now represent over 22.2 million women—17% of all adult women in the U.S. as of 2024. The festival is positioned as a prelude to Los Angeles hosting FIFA events, drawing global attention to the city.
According to LATINAFest co-founder Bel Hernandez Castillo, 'Latinas are not a trend—we are the future of growth. Marketing to Latinas should not be considered a DEI initiative by corporations, it is a strategy that is good for business.' The event will feature over 100 exhibitors and vendors, showcasing Latina-owned businesses that are fueling economic growth. Data from Forbes indicates Latina founders are starting businesses at faster rates than any other demographic group in the U.S.
Keynote speaker Loriann Serna, founder of Wife of the Party, will share insights from her 20 years of producing celebrity events. The opening ceremony will feature choreographer Stephanie Stevens, recently seen in Bad Bunny's halftime show, alongside youth soccer teams. An author's panel includes award-winning novelist Reyna Grande, presenting her latest work 'Migrant Heart,' and Julissa Arce, author of My (Underground) American Dream. A panel titled 'Breaking the Silence' will address untold stories within the community.
LATINAFest also offers wellness activities such as morning yoga, sound baths, and 'limpia' rituals, plus live selling experiences through Viva Shop, art installations, musical performances, tequila and mezcal tastings, salsa dance lessons, and a full day of shopping and food. The festival anticipates surpassing its 2025 attendance of 4,000 guests.
Lead-up events include 'Taste of LATINAFest' on May 16, 2026, in partnership with METRO, and a 5K Fun Run on May 30, 2026, sponsored by Angel City FC. Sponsors and partners include Square, AARP, El Clasificado, and others committed to uplifting the Latina community. LATINAFest continues to serve as a platform for cultural influence and economic empowerment, celebrating the unstoppable spirit of Latinas.
