LaFleur Minerals Expands Abitibi Land Position, Advances Beacon Mill Restart

LaFleur Minerals Inc. (CSE: LFLR) (OTCQB: LFLRF) has expanded its footprint in the Abitibi Greenstone Belt, one of the world's most prolific gold-producing regions. The company recently acquired 27 mineral claims totaling approximately 701 hectares adjacent to its McKenzie East Project, increasing its overall land position in the belt to more than 23,100 hectares across 490 claims. The new claims include ground containing a historical Maruska gold showing, which LaFleur plans to explore through data compilation, drilling, and other exploration activities.

This acquisition is part of a broader district-scale strategy aimed at consolidating a large land package along a major structural break that hosts the Swanson, Bartec, and Jolin gold deposits. The company's flagship Swanson Gold Project spans approximately 19,214 hectares and includes several prospects previously held by Monarch Mining, Abcourt Mines, and Globex Mining. The project benefits from easy road access to several nearby gold mills, enhancing its development potential.

In parallel, LaFleur is refurbishing its 100%-owned Beacon Gold Mill, which is capable of processing over 750 tonnes per day. The company expects to restart operations in the coming months, initially processing existing stockpiles and potentially material from its Swanson Gold Project. The mill is also being considered for custom milling operations for other nearby gold projects, providing an additional revenue stream.

The combination of expanded land holdings, exploration opportunities, and planned mill operations positions LaFleur to leverage the region's strong infrastructure and access to mining resources. According to the company, these developments support its goal of advancing projects with significant potential to deliver long-term value.

The Abitibi Greenstone Belt is renowned for its rich gold deposits and established mining infrastructure, making it a strategic location for exploration and development. LaFleur's recent efforts align with its mission to develop district-scale projects near Val-d'Or, Québec.
