STTGDC today announced the completion of its acquisition by a consortium led by global investment firm KKR and Singtel, and unveiled a refreshed global brand, marking a pivotal moment in the company's evolution as a global digital infrastructure platform. The transaction provides STTGDC with long-term capital, enhanced financial flexibility, and the consortium's extensive infrastructure expertise, strengthening its ability to execute its growth strategy while maintaining continuity in leadership and customer commitment.

Retaining its name, STTGDC's refreshed brand is anchored in the concept of "Built Ready," reflecting its focus on delivering reliable, resilient, and AI-ready infrastructure across Asia, the United Kingdom, and Europe. Bruno Lopez, President and Group CEO of STTGDC, emphasized the significance of this milestone: "Today marks the most important turning point in STTGDC's evolution since we founded the company more than 12 years ago. With the KKR-Singtel consortium's investment, we have greater capacity to grow and execute at scale while remaining true to the values and customer commitment that have defined STTGDC from its inception."

The company enters this new phase with robust operational momentum. Since the end of 2025, operational capacity has increased by 25% to 780MW, contracted capacity has grown by 50%, and annualized EBITDA has risen by 30%, reflecting sustained demand from hyperscalers, cloud service providers, AI customers, and enterprises. As AI transforms data centre requirements, the industry faces the challenge of converting demand into delivered capacity, necessitating coordinated planning across power, cooling, design, supply chains, financing, and local market conditions. STTGDC's strategy remains focused on markets with strong fundamentals, and with close to 2GW of powered land secured, it is well positioned to meet customer needs.

In India, STTGDC operates 34 data centres across 10 cities, with more than 613MW of IT capacity, strategically scaling to support the country's digital economy. In Indonesia, the company is expanding its Jakarta campus, advancing a pipeline of over 360MW of AI-ready capacity backed by secured power. Singapore remains strategically important, with STTGDC selected to develop 50MW of sustainable, AI-ready capacity, contributing to the nation's digital infrastructure goals.

Responsible growth remains integral. With 83.2% of electricity consumption sourced from renewable energy, STTGDC surpassed its 2028 carbon intensity reduction target three years ahead of schedule. The company collaborates closely with governments, customers, and communities to address local priorities and maintain its social licence to operate. This acquisition and brand refresh position STTGDC to capitalize on the growing demand for AI-ready digital infrastructure, ensuring it remains a trusted partner in the region's digital transformation.
