Kaufman & Company Unveils Unified Platform, Merging Real Estate and Venture Arms

Kaufman & Company, the permanent capital holding company led by Daniel Kaufman, has announced the full launch of its integrated platform, marked by the debut of its new website, thekaufmanco.com. The move culminates a year-long consolidation effort uniting ten operating companies, a seven-company venture portfolio through Kaufman Ventures, and a network of affiliated partnerships under one cohesive structure. The platform spans residential development, workforce housing, AI infrastructure, and venture capital, reflecting a deliberate strategy to break down silos and foster collaboration across all entities.

Daniel Kaufman, founder and principal, emphasized the significance of this launch: "Our 2026 launch slate marks the full convergence of real estate and technology. We’ve spent the last year bringing every company we’ve built or backed under one platform so they can share capital, data, and execution discipline instead of operating in silos. This is the structure the work has been building toward." This unified approach is designed to leverage shared resources and expertise, enhancing efficiency and innovation across the board.

The operating companies now presented under the Kaufman & Company platform include Convivium Living, DanReDev, DEK Builds, Design Build Affordable, DK Homes, Forge Development Partners, Kaufman Development, Kaufman Real Estate & Consulting, LoneStar Kaufman, and Kaufman Ventures. These entities collectively boast more than $2 billion in project value delivered, over 10,000 housing units developed, and over 25 years of industry experience. Each company maintains its own team and market focus while benefiting from the platform's integrated financial reporting, shared services, and go-to-market strategies.

Kaufman Ventures, the platform's venture capital arm, formally introduces its portfolio of seven technology companies designed to serve the real estate industry. These include BridgeStar, an AI-powered partner portal; Meridian, portfolio intelligence tooling; LandBriefing, a national land intelligence platform; SpreadSight, data analytics for real estate investment; FoundCheck, diligence tooling; and ServerDomes, AI data center development. The venture strategy is to build tools that the operating companies use first, then bring them to the broader market, ensuring practical, tested solutions.

The launch also highlights the platform's ongoing relationship with Oldivai, an independently led workforce housing partner, which remains closely aligned without being one of the ten platform companies. The new website introduces a public-facing partner portal at BridgeStar.ai, offering borrowers, investors, and partners direct access to deal information, along with Media & Press and U.S. Real Estate Journal sections consolidating the company's press footprint.

Kaufman added, "Every company on this platform still runs the way it always has, with its own team and its own market focus. What changes is that we can now move capital, share underwriting discipline, and put technology like BridgeStar and Meridian to work across all of them at once. That is what this launch represents." This integration is poised to drive significant synergies, positioning Kaufman & Company for enhanced growth and impact in the real estate and technology sectors.
