Ideal Group of Companies, Inc. (OTC: IDGR) announced the completion of its acquisition of the El Quizer Mining Administrative Contract, a 675-hectare gold concession in Bolivia's Precambrian Shield. The transaction, confirmed in a press release on June 18, 2026, positions IDGR as an emerging participant in the global precious metals sector at a time when gold and platinum group metals (PGMs) have become structurally indispensable to technology industries.
The El Quizer concession, issued under Contract No. AJAM/DDSC/CAM/00023/2017, grants full mining rights for a 30-year term renewable for an additional 30 years. Located in the Municipality of San Ramon, the property is accessible via paved highway from Santa Cruz de la Sierra, Bolivia's largest commercial hub, and gravel roads. All required permits and environmental licenses are current, according to the company.
The geological setting is one of the most underexplored gold-bearing terranes globally. Bolivia's Precambrian Shield, larger than Canada's Abitibi Greenstone Belt, has produced fewer than 10 million ounces of gold compared to Abitibi's 170 million ounces. Gold mineralization at El Quizer is of the orogenic greenstone type, similar to prolific deposits in Canada and West Africa. The property is adjacent to the historically producing Puquio Norte Mine, which yielded over 300,000 ounces of gold from surface saprolite between 1996 and 2001. Recent field sampling of newly identified veins returned assay values of 4.98 and 8.61 grams of gold per tonne.
Independent analysis identified significant mineral resources, including approximately 8 million metric tonnes of primary oxide stockpiles at an average grade of 1.0 g/t gold, representing an estimated 210,000 ounces of contained gold. These stockpiles, left by former operations, offer a near-term production opportunity with an estimated 12-year mine life. Additionally, 2 million metric tonnes of sulfide stockpiles at 0.7 g/t gold and 10 million metric tonnes in virgin primary formations at 2.5 g/t gold were identified. A new vein discovery measuring 4 meters wide across a 2-kilometer strike length assays between 4.98 and 8.61 g/t gold. Preliminary analyses also indicate the presence of PGMs, including palladium, iridium, and rhodium, pending formal confirmation.
The acquisition comes as global demand for precious metals surges due to structural transformations in AI, clean energy, and defense. Gold is irreplaceable in semiconductor packaging and high-frequency connectors for AI data centers, with projected capital expenditure exceeding $1 trillion over five years. Central bank gold demand reached 4,740 tonnes in 2022, the highest since 2011, driven by reserve diversification (World Gold Council). PGMs like palladium, rhodium, and iridium are essential for hydrogen fuel cells, catalytic converters, and green hydrogen production. High-purity gold and PGMs are also critical for satellite systems and defense electronics amid rising global defense budgets.
Ideal Group is committed to responsible green mining at El Quizer, with plans to eliminate mercury and cyanide, implement closed-loop water recycling, use renewable energy, and engage with local communities. The company believes responsible mining and superior financial returns are complementary.
CEO Charles Cardona stated, "The El Quizer acquisition puts us in the right place at the right time. We hold a permitted, legally contracted, geologically compelling gold asset in a jurisdiction actively seeking responsible foreign investment - at the precise moment when the metals this property contains have become indispensable to AI infrastructure, clean energy, and advanced manufacturing."
