Greenland Mines Completes Skaergaard Bathymetric Survey, Advances 2026 Drill Program

Greenland Mines (NASDAQ: GRML) has completed its 2026 bathymetric survey campaign at the Skaergaard Project in southeast Greenland, exceeding original plans and delivering high-resolution seabed data across the fjords surrounding the project. The survey, which covered more area than initially anticipated, has already proven instrumental in guiding the company's support vessel to a new anchorage within 500 meters of the initial 2026 operational area. This data is expected to support the creation of official navigational charts, a dedicated navigational safety study, and planning for future large-scale marine shipping operations.

The completion of the bathymetric survey is a critical component of the company's broader 2026 field program at Skaergaard, which encompasses resource definition drilling, metallurgical bulk sampling, environmental baseline studies, and infrastructure planning. The company has also completed all HQ-diameter drill core required for its planned multiton metallurgical bulk sample and has transitioned to NQ-size core drilling for resource definition and geotechnical work through the remainder of the season. A new core shack for logging, sampling, and storage is now fully operational, enhancing the efficiency of the ongoing fieldwork.

According to the company, the survey data will not only facilitate safer and more efficient marine operations but also contribute to the development of infrastructure that could support future mining activities. The project is advancing toward an Initial Assessment, a key milestone in the exploration and development process. The Skaergaard Project, known for its palladium and platinum group metals, is part of Greenland Mines' strategy to build a multi-asset platform with exposure to rare earth magnet materials, precious metals, and selected midstream processing opportunities.

Greenland Mines operates with two divisions: Mining, focused on the Skaergaard Project and, subject to closing of the previously announced transaction, the Sarfartoq neodymium-praseodymium (Nd-Pr) rare earths project in southwest Greenland; and Biotech, including Klotho’s KLTO-202 primary indication for ALS. The company’s vision includes the broader North Atlantic Critical Metals Corridor, linking Greenland resources with allied downstream jurisdictions and industrial infrastructure.

The successful completion of the bathymetric survey and the ongoing drilling program underscore Greenland Mines' commitment to advancing the Skaergaard Project. The high-resolution seabed data will be vital for ensuring navigational safety and planning for large-scale marine logistics, which are essential for the project's future development. As the company continues to progress toward an Initial Assessment, these developments position it to potentially unlock significant value from its Greenland assets.
