Greenland Energy Advances Arctic Exploration with Halliburton Partnership

Greenland Energy Company (NASDAQ: GLND) provided a midyear operational update on Wednesday, detailing significant progress since its March 2026 Nasdaq debut. The company reported the completion of a public offering that raised approximately $70 million in gross proceeds, bolstering its financial position for planned exploration activities. Additionally, Greenland Energy announced the execution of key service agreements, including a five-year drilling agreement with Stampede Drilling and an integrated services agreement with Halliburton (NYSE: HAL) for consulting, logistics, and well services ahead of its planned drilling campaign.

The company is advancing procurement, infrastructure planning, and equipment mobilization for its Jameson Land Basin project, with a target to commence modern onshore drilling operations in October 2026. Greenland Energy plans to drill two exploration wells, OPW-1 and OPW-6, each extending approximately 3,500 meters. The Jameson Land Basin is estimated to contain up to 13 billion barrels of gross unrisked prospective oil resources, supported by historical seismic data and prior industry investment.

The partnership with Halliburton is a critical step in de-risking the exploration program, providing expertise in Arctic operations and integrated well services. Similarly, the arrangement with Stampede Drilling ensures availability of specialized drilling equipment for the harsh environment. These agreements underscore Greenland Energy's commitment to responsible development of Greenland's hydrocarbon resources while creating a publicly traded platform for Arctic energy development.
