The Georgia Latino International Film Festival (GALIFF) will mark its 15th anniversary with a five-day celebration from September 30 through October 4, 2026, at Atlanta's historic Fox Theatre. Organized by the Georgia Latino Film Alliance (GALFA), the milestone event will feature Mexico as the 2026 Country of Honor, showcasing the nation's cinematic excellence and cultural influence.
Since its inception, GALIFF has served as a platform for underrepresented voices in the film industry. What began as a vision has evolved into one of the Southeast's premier Latino film festivals, championing independent filmmakers and connecting Georgia with stories from across Latin America and beyond. The festival has become a launching pad for emerging artists and a gathering place for industry leaders, fostering a community where diverse narratives take center stage.
"This Quinceañera is more than an anniversary, it's a celebration of every filmmaker, volunteer, sponsor, and audience member who believed in our mission," said Yvette Moise, Co-Founder and President of GALFA/GALIFF. The festival is also entering a new digital era with the launch of a redesigned galiff.org, creating a year-round hub for filmmakers, students, and film enthusiasts.
