Generation Uranium Inc. (TSXV: GEN, OTCQB: GENRF, FRA: W85) provided an update on exploration planning for the 2026 field season, focusing on integrating 2024 Mobile Magnetotellurics (MMT) survey results and evaluating artificial intelligence as a target ranking tool. The company awaits drill permit approval while refining historic targets to advance toward drill-ready status.
The 2024 MMT survey, conducted by Expert Geophysics, covered approximately 120 km2 over 810 line kilometres of the Yath Project. The survey targeted unconformity-style uranium systems by identifying graphitic conductor fault zones, hydrothermal alteration halos, and deep structural controls. Integration of conductive and resistive MMT corridors with historic mapping and sampling has significantly narrowed target footprints, constraining previously broad targets (hundreds of metres) to zones tens of metres wide. Key targets including BOG, VGR, Embryo, FOX, and Lucky Break have been reoriented, revealing oblique conductive and resistive trends compared to earlier interpretations.
Historic results from the Yath Project include surface samples up to 9.8% U3O8 at the Embryo target and 1.0 m at 0.224% U3O8 from 25.5 m in drillhole BOG-8-80. The company is integrating these with MMT data to prioritize the most prospective targets for drilling.
Generation also engaged several AI-driven geological service providers to enhance target ranking, recognizing the substantial volume of historic and modern data at Yath. CEO Michael Collins stated: “The MMT data represents a major leap forward for buried uranium targeting. This exploration concept has already been validated by Atha Energy’s five new discoveries in 2025 on their Angilak Project to the south (source). Generation has a real opportunity to shorten the discovery cycle at Yath while maximizing exploration dollars and drilling effectiveness.”
The uranium market in 2026 continues to strengthen, with spot prices surpassing US$100/lb and a structural supply deficit. A report by Shaw and Partners (source) forecasts a potential multi-year price spike toward US$200/lb, driven by AI-powered data center demand and nuclear capacity expansion in China, India, and the United States. Global nuclear capacity consumes approximately 180 Mlb of U3O8 annually against mine production of about 150 Mlb, and the World Nuclear Association (source) projects annual consumption could reach 390 Mlb by 2040. This environment strengthens the outlook for exploration-stage companies like Generation Uranium.
The MMT data integration and AI evaluation position Generation to refine targets efficiently, potentially accelerating discovery in a rising uranium market. The company’s Yath Project, located in Nunavut’s Angilak district, remains a key asset in one of Canada’s most active uranium camps.
