FWD Group Holdings Limited ("FWD Group" or "FWD") has announced a series of charitable grants to mark its 13th anniversary, aiming to support more than 13,000 people in communities across Asia. The initiative underscores the company's dedication to giving back to the regions where it operates, focusing on areas such as financial literacy, career readiness, entrepreneurship, health and wellbeing, and community recovery.
Since its establishment in 2013, FWD Group has grown from its early operations in Hong Kong SAR, Macau SAR, and Thailand into a pan-Asian life and health insurer serving millions of customers across 10 markets. In July 2025, the company achieved a significant milestone with its listing on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange under the stock code 1828. This listing has provided the company with a platform to further its mission of changing the way people feel about insurance.

The 13 grants will fund initiatives across the region, each tailored to local needs. In Hong Kong SAR, the JA SparktheDream Wellness Programme with Junior Achievement Hong Kong will be extended to equip 2,600 primary school students with social, emotional, and financial skills. Additionally, a football-based programme with Save the Children Hong Kong will support 200 children and 80 caregivers affected by the Tai Po fire, and Plan International Hong Kong will lead community-building initiatives for over 6,500 students, parents, and teachers to support long-term recovery in Tai Po.
In Cambodia, JCI Mekong will provide financial education workshops to 200 young people, while in Indonesia, KUMPUL will continue the InnovateHer Academy 4.0 to empower 10 female entrepreneurs with mentorship and business skills. Japan will see football clinics for over 15 visually impaired individuals with Hands On Tokyo, and Malaysia's GivingHub will support 170 low-income families with health education and financial literacy workshops, along with 100 cancer screening sessions.
The Philippines will help 100 university students transition into the workforce with Junior Achievement Philippines, and Singapore's Club Rainbow will host a carnival for 50 children with chronic illnesses and their caregivers. Thailand will extend hospitality training scholarships for seven disadvantaged youth via Pimali Foundation and expand the JA SparktheDream programme with Junior Achievement Thailand to train 30 educators. Vietnam will empower 800 students through financial literacy workshops and debate competitions by Startup Vietnam Foundation and Dear Our Community, and Little Roses Foundation will provide 76 computers to schools in Khanh Hoa Province to help 1,800 students continue learning after severe flooding.
These grants reflect FWD Group's ongoing commitment to social responsibility and its belief that supporting communities is integral to its business philosophy.
