The DFW Car & Toy Museum has been named the Gold winner in the 2026 DFW Favorites for Best Event Venue, a recognition that underscores the museum's distinct appeal as a destination for corporate events, weddings, private parties, and special gatherings. Located in North Fort Worth, the museum offers over 150,000 square feet of display space featuring more than 200 classic and exotic cars and 3,000 rare toys, creating an immersive backdrop that sets it apart from traditional venues in North Texas.
Ron Sturgeon, owner of the DFW Car & Toy Museum, expressed gratitude for the award, stating, 'This award is a testament to our team's dedication to creating memorable, high-quality experiences for every guest.' The museum's versatile spaces include a VIP lounge, conference room, and interactive exhibits that can be tailored to suit a variety of events. The team works closely with clients to customize layouts and provide exclusive access to museum features, ensuring each event is unique.
The museum, formerly known as DFW Elite Toy Museum, was founded by Sturgeon in the 1980s and originally located in Haltom City, Texas. It recently relocated to 2550 McMillan Parkway in Fort Worth, where it continues to serve as a hub for car and toy enthusiasts. The new facility offers free parking and admission, climate-controlled car storage, and event spaces suitable for car clubs, board meetings, and more. The museum is also dog-friendly and encourages photography.
