Delivery Hero, the world’s leading local delivery platform, has appointed John Woyton to its Supervisory Board, effective September 9, 2026. Woyton succeeds Scott Ferguson, who stepped down to focus on other commitments, and will assume Ferguson’s seats on the Audit and Strategy Committees. The appointment brings over two decades of private equity and M&A experience in technology, media, and telecommunications (TMT) to the board, a move that underscores Delivery Hero’s intent to navigate rapid sector evolution and capitalize on emerging opportunities.
Woyton’s career spans investment banking, private equity, and technology-focused ventures. He began as an investment banking analyst before joining The Carlyle Group. In 2008, he joined Advent International, where he spent nearly 12 years as leader of the TMT sector team and Partner, overseeing numerous investments, buyouts, and strategic transactions. From 2021 to 2024, he served as a member of the Senior Leadership Team and Managing Director at H.I.G. Capital. In 2025, he co-founded Covalent Equity Partners, a technology-focused private equity firm supporting businesses in the AI era. His dual US and British nationality adds further international perspective to the board.
