Datavault AI Inc. (NASDAQ: DVLT), a provider of data monetization, credentialing, digital engagement and real-world asset tokenization technologies, announced the appointment of Dr. Barry Childe as chief information security officer. In this role, Childe will lead the company's cybersecurity strategy, strengthen data protection across its tokenization, valuation and secure data monetization platforms and oversee initiatives focused on AI security and quantum-resistant technologies.

Childe brings more than 40 years of experience in cybersecurity, high-performance computing, cloud infrastructure and distributed-ledger technology, including leadership positions at HSBC, Barclays Capital, The Royal Bank of Scotland and VMware, as well as co-founding quantum-encryption company Arqit. His expertise in cryptography, high-performance computing and quantum-resistant security will help support the company's secure infrastructure as it expands its tokenization, valuation and data monetization platforms, according to CEO Nathaniel T. The company's Acoustic Sciences division features WiSA, ADIO and Sumerian patented technologies for spatial and multichannel wireless high-definition sound transmission. The Data Science division leverages Web 3.0 and high-performance computing for experiential data perception, valuation and secure monetization.

Datavault AI's platform serves multiple industries, including high-performance computing software licensing for sports and entertainment, events and venues, biotech, education, fintech, real estate, healthcare and energy. The Information Data Exchange enables Digital Twins and the licensing of name, image and likeness by securely attaching physical real-world objects to immutable metadata, fostering responsible AI with integrity.
