The Canadian Salsa Festivals Project (CSFP) has announced its expanded 2026 season slate, featuring a dynamic lineup of festivals and programs that includes a first-time expansion into Niagara Falls. The series runs from June through September 2026, marking the biggest ever for the organization.
New for 2026 is Salsa at Niagara Falls, scheduled for September 12 and 13. This inaugural event is a partnership with Niagara Falls Tourism, Niagara Parks Commission, and Fallsview Casino Resort. Adam Stiles, Interim President and CEO of Niagara Falls Tourism, expressed enthusiasm: "Salsa at Niagara Falls is exactly the kind of vibrant, world-class event our destination is made for, it's a perfect addition to our September calendar for the next several years."
The CSFP also welcomes expanded support from longstanding festival sponsor TD Bank Group, which has grown its title sponsorship to include Salsa Tremblant in Quebec's Laurentians region, while renewing as title sponsor of Salsa on St. Clair in Toronto and Salsa at Blue Mountain in Collingwood. Robyn Small, Senior Manager, Philanthropy, Corporate Citizenship at TD Bank Group, stated: "Festivals like TD Salsa on St. Clair bring people together to celebrate what shapes us — our stories, food, music, and art."
Returning festivals include TD Salsa at Blue Mountain (June 26–28), which kicks off the summer season with a weekend of Latin music, dance, and culture at the Blue Mountain Village. Patti Kendall, President of the Blue Mountain Village Association, noted: "Salsa at Blue is a highly anticipated event that brings vibrant Latin energy to the Village, kicking off our summer festival season."
TD Salsa on St. Clair (July 11–12) returns as Canada's largest Latin-themed free street festival, transforming Midtown Toronto's Hillcrest Village into a vibrant cultural celebration. Highlights include 350+ live performers, weekend headliners such as JUNO nominee Andy Rubal and Latin/tropical artist Yani Borrell, the Fiesta Parade presented by Lenpanada, and over 35 authentic Latin food vendors representing 15+ countries.
TD Salsa Tremblant (August 21–23) returns for its third year, transforming the Tremblant Pedestrian Village into a showcase of Latin life. Nicolas Dien, Event Director of the Tremblant Resort Association, said: "We are very proud to be hosting Salsa Tremblant for a third consecutive year. This event perfectly embodies Tremblant's DNA."
Returning festival program favorites include the Vibrante Latin Art Exhibition (June 6 – July 12) at Toronto's Little EGG Gallery, featuring emerging Latino artists under 18; free dance lessons (May – August) across Southern Ontario; Salsa on Market Street (August 9) in Toronto's historic Old Town; and family salsa dance lessons at Toronto museums (August – October).
