The scholarship is open to students across the United States who are enrolled in or accepted to an accredited undergraduate, graduate, or professional program, including community college students, high school seniors, and GED holders. Applicants must maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 and demonstrate a genuine commitment to helping others through difficult times.
The application process requires students to submit an essay of no more than 1,000 words addressing three prompts about helping others through injury, illness, and hardship. In addition to the essay, applicants must provide a current resume and an unofficial transcript. All materials should be emailed to scholarships@legalatlanta.com by the deadline of August 31, 2027. The scholarship recipient will be announced on October 1, 2027.
Unlike many scholarships that target future legal professionals, this award is intentionally open to students in any field of study. The firm emphasizes that qualifying applicants might include someone who cares for a family member after an accident, volunteers with individuals healing from an injury or illness, or helps a neighbor recover from a difficult year.
