BRAVE Coalition Foundation Receives Donation from Johnson & Johnson to Advance Breast Cancer Advocacy

BRAVE Coalition Foundation, a nonprofit dedicated to breast reconstruction education and advocacy, announced a generous donation from Johnson & Johnson, continuing a partnership that began in 2018. The contribution will support the foundation's mission to empower breast cancer survivors with knowledge and access to reconstruction options, regardless of insurance or socioeconomic status.

Lisa Shumpert, President of BRAVE Coalition Foundation, emphasized the importance of sustained support. 'Johnson & Johnson's continued investment in our mission underscores the importance of standing beside patients—not just during treatment, but throughout their entire reconstruction and healing process,' she said.

The donation will fund patient education programs, surgeon collaboration, community outreach, and survivor resources. These initiatives aim to remove barriers to care and elevate awareness about breast reconstruction options. BRAVE Coalition Foundation, founded in 2012 by Dr. Allen Gabriel and Dr. Christine Grogan, is the first 501(c)(3) charitable foundation focused on breast reconstruction advocacy. The organization believes every woman should have the right to decide how to shape her recovery from breast cancer.

Johnson & Johnson's support reflects a shared dedication to empowering women with advocacy and access. For more information or to donate, visit www.bravecoalition.org.
