Pieri's journey began when her friend, who was fostering a dog named Zeke, fell ill. Pieri stepped in to care for Zeke, a dog described as having green eyes. Her efforts ensured that Zeke maintained stability during a critical transition period. "Helping care for Zeke also showed me how important foster networks are for rescue animals," Pieri said. "Foster dogs rely on stability, routine, and kindness while they transition from uncertain pasts to hopeful futures. By stepping in while my friend was sick, I was able to help maintain that stability for him."
Pieri is pursuing dual degrees in Accounting and Economics with a minor in Commercial Entrepreneurship at Florida State University. Beyond her academic pursuits, she participates in pageants, advocates for breast cancer research, and volunteers with the IRS Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Program. Her professional aspirations include a summer 2026 internship as a Receivable Intern at SBA Communications and a planned Tax Intern position at CohnReznick in 2027. After graduation, she intends to pursue a Master's degree and sit for the CPA exam, with the goal of becoming a Certified Public Accountant specializing in tax and public accounting.
