BioElectronics Reports Sales Growth and Strategic Progress in Chairman's Update

BioElectronics Corporation (OTC: BIEL), a developer of medical technology products, released an update from Chairman Richard Staelin, PhD, detailing sales growth, strategic progress, and cost control measures that led to a small profit for calendar year 2025. The company, which focuses on non-opioid pain management solutions, has implemented targeted advertising campaigns toward medical professionals and consumers, expanded its social media presence, and advanced its distribution relationship with Electrome Corporation.

According to the update, BioElectronics relocated its offices and reduced staff to align with operational needs, contributing to improved financial performance. The company reported a small profit for 2025, a milestone for the emerging medical technology firm. Revenue-generating initiatives include advertising campaigns directed at surgeons, pain specialists, and other healthcare providers to expand clinical awareness of its RecoveryRx device. Additionally, consumer-focused social media advertising targeting Generation X consumers aims to boost brand visibility for drug-free chronic musculoskeletal pain relief.

The company continues outreach to physician-owned ambulatory surgical centers and orthopedic practices to identify a clinical trial partner for RecoveryRx. The goal is to participate in a postoperative clinical study that could support qualification for reimbursement under the federal NO PAIN Act initiative, which Staelin described as a meaningful long-term opportunity for broader adoption of non-opioid pain management technologies in surgical settings.

Internationally, BioElectronics is working with legal counsel in Singapore and funders in China regarding arbitration proceedings with a former distributor that allegedly breached contractual obligations. The company remains committed to protecting its intellectual property and shareholder interests.

A key strategic development is the progress with Electrome Corporation. Initial conditions of the supply agreement have been satisfied, and BioElectronics has received Electrome's initial purchase order. Manufacturing is underway, and Electrome is planning a commercial launch of BioElectronics' pulsed shortwave therapy products through its platform. Staelin called this an important operational milestone that provides another pathway to increase consumer awareness and access to FDA-cleared, drug-free pain therapy products.

These efforts have resulted in an increase in monthly sales in both over-the-counter and professional markets. Staelin emphasized that while the Electrome relationship is meaningful, it is part of a broader strategy including clinical market development, direct professional outreach, consumer education, and international opportunities. Despite challenges faced by emerging medical technology companies, BioElectronics is encouraged by growing interest in non-drug pain management solutions and believes it is well positioned in the evolving electroceutical and non-opioid pain management markets.
