BioElectronics Corporation (OTC: BIEL), a leader in bioelectronic, drug-free pain therapy, announced the imminent commercial launch of ActiPatch in Taiwan by its appointed distributor, Aphrodite Medical Group. This expansion marks a significant step in bringing non-invasive pain relief to a new market, challenging traditional pharmaceutical approaches.
ActiPatch is a US FDA-cleared medical device that delivers pulsed shortwave therapy to modulate pain at the peripheral nerve level. Each device provides up to 720 hours of continuous therapy and is designed for extended wear, including during sleep, offering a practical alternative to drugs. The initial shipment of units has been completed, positioning ActiPatch for a coordinated market launch in Q2 2026, focusing initially on musculoskeletal pain management.
The partnership with Aphrodite Medical Group, a well-established healthcare provider in Taiwan with a broad clinical footprint, is expected to facilitate physician engagement and patient access.
